About the Program

The “Researchers at Schools” program, organized with the support of the European Commission as part of the European Researchers’ Night project 2026–2027, involves a series of activities aimed at promoting and popularizing scientific research in educational institutions across the Republic of Moldova. Researchers from Moldova and abroad will deliver lectures and seminars, demonstrating the impact of research on social well-being and quality of life.

Advantages for schools and pupils

By participating, the school will benefit from:

  • Direct interaction between students and teachers with professional researchers from various fields.
  • Opportunities to discuss personal development, career guidance, and scientific careers with researchers.
  • Strengthening ties between the academic research community and the pre-university education system.
  • Promotion and recognition of the institution as a partner in European initiatives to promote science.

How to Apply

Secondary education institutions (schools, high schools) interested in hosting a public lecture by a scientific researcher are asked to fill in the Registration Form by August 20, 2026.

The lecture at the school will be followed by a tour of the research laboratories and the students’ participation in hands-on scientific activities.
